This policy explains what information Altara Research LLC ("Altara Research", "we", "us") collects through https://altararesearch.org (the "Site") and what we do with it. It covers this Site only.
What we collect
What you send us. When you contact us, by the form or by email, we receive what you choose to include: usually your name, email address, organization and message.
Technical information. Like any website, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers record standard technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and, if you ask, to discuss working together.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To keep the Site running and secure.
- To meet a legal obligation, where one applies.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.
Who else receives it
We use a small number of service providers to run the Site and our email: our hosting and network provider, our email provider, and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on the Site and receives your IP address when a page loads. They process information on our behalf and for these purposes only. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation or relationship it belongs to, and then delete it, unless we need to keep it longer for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@altararesearch.org. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law; we will honor them.
Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive by email or the contact form.
Children
The Site is meant for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
